We are currently seeking a flexible and team orientated social worker to join a multi disciplinary team in rural Victoria.

The role as social worker would be very general as you would be dealing with all related issues that occur in small rural communities. It includes:

• Consultations with a client base ranging from children right through to the elderly
• Counselling
• Therapy and counselling with individuals and families
• Health promotions and education
• Assessments, interventions  and referrals

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

• Bachelor of Social Work 
• Eligibility for AASW membership
• Current driver's licence
• Sound knowledge of community health services
• Rural health experience or a special interest
• Demonstrated independence and ability to share ideas and develop strategies to overcome various issues
• Negotiation and resolution skills
