A municipality located under 2 hours from Melbourne are seeking the services of a Civil Engineer to assist with flood recovery program.  Our client offer their staff a healthy work/life balance and the opportunity to enjoy a rewarding job helping the local community recover from flood damage.

Employed as a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to customer enquiries, conducting site investigations, proposing solutions to engineering issues, organising and scheduling of works.

As the ideal candidate you will have:
• A degree in Project/ Civil Engineering, or relevant qualifications/experience
• An Intermediate Project Engineer with experience coordinating the delivery of civil infrastructure projects
• Previous experience conducting site investigations and proposing solutions
• Demonstrated ability to organise and schedule contractors and works
• A solid understanding of Local Government Legislation and Best Practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and solve complex engineering/ technical problems
